In 1996 Brian van der Grijp CA(SA), Bcom(Hons) started the auditing and accounting practice BBR VAN DER GRIJP & ASSOCIATES. He believed that close client and professional relationships could be developed to a level of being “the office next door”, where the clients’ needs mattered and were supported on a direct personal basis especially in the increasing and demanding technical, accounting and taxation environment.

In 2018, Brian merged his business interests with a national auditing and an accounting/tax and consulting firms, namely TGS South Africa Incorporated (audit) and 123 Consulting Proprietary Limited (accounting/tax/secretarial and consulting) and has continued as a director in TGS South Africa Incorporated and consults to 123 Consulting Proprietary Limited. Our services include auditing, accounting services, taxation, wills and estates, matters concerning the South African Revenue Services, insolvencies, banking requirements, legal matters, estate planning, insurance and off-shore investments. He is still committed to forging close client relationships, with a genuine enthusiasm for the opportunities that emerging technologies could bring to the profession.

Brian van der Grijp is registered with the South Africa Institute of Chartered Accountants, as a Registered Accountant (RA) with the Independent Regulatory Board of Auditors (IRBA) and as Tax Practitioner with SARS.
